The architect Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles was a central figure in the landscape design of the garden city. Defender of the balance between urban planning and nature, he designed green spaces that made this place more sustainable and pleasant, such as the Encosta Urban Park. His legacy profoundly influenced urban planning in Portugal, making cities more humane and ecological.
